Hello! It may sound silly but I've missed you guys! Writing on here and reading your comments is really fun for me; things have not been the same lately. I'm sure you all are sick of hearing me complain about my surgery, but recovering has taken longer than expected (and it's not over yet!). For awhile I just wasn't up to doing an outfit post. My face looked frozen and kinda botoxy for about a week and half and my energy levels have been pretty abysmal. With my already low energy stats I also started two new jobs which have both been really taking it out of me. Anyways, all that to say, things have been crazy and hectic. I'm so ready to start posting regularly again, though!
Don't you just love this gorgeous, purple brick background? A friend and I spent our day off going to Federal Hill in Baltimore City to visit one of our new favorite café's-Spoons. I saw this building and knew it had to be the backdrop for my photos. I love that the background brings a pop of color to my black and brown outfit. A good rule of thumb for outfit photos is: simple outfit? bright/colorful/crazy background, colorful outfit? simple background. Balance. :)
